WHG Guardianship Service - Expenses Desposit
What is it?
If you are at a boarding school or on our Day Pupil Programme, then we have an easy payment system where we hold a deposit account for expenses. This account is used to pay for anything requested and not covered by the school or guardianship fees with parents’ permission.
What is it used for?
Examples of additional costs charged to the expenses deposit:
- Host family accommodation
- Pocket money
- School excursions
- Holiday guardianship (where applicable)
- School bedding
An expenses statement will be sent at the end of each term.
If the account balance falls too low during the term, a statement and request for a top up will be sent to the parent/agent.
What happens at the end of the programme?
At the end of the programme/guardianship service, outstanding charges, such as transport costs, will be deducted and any remaining balance will be returned to the parents.
